Wang Gang, head coach of the Beijing Guoan football team, has revealed that several key players have sustained injuries during training sessions this week.
Among the latest injuries is that of defender Zhang Ziyu, who was forced to leave the field with an ankle injury after colliding with another player during practice. The club has since released a statement saying that he will be out for at least two weeks and may require surgery.
